Take on the great outdoors as you explore the majestic landscape of Patagonia.

Join us for this epic journey through Argentina’s hiking paradise, where forests, glaciers, and mountains merge.

We will retreat at an exclusive nature reserve in the El Chaltén region, where we will be led on multiple outdoor adventures by a local, licensed park ranger. Then, we round the trip off with a stay in Calafate to explore the Perito Moreno glacier–one of the last few advancing glaciers left on earth.

Retreat Highlights:

1-2 intentional yoga practices daily. These classes will serve to support the physical demands of our hiking adventure, while also inspiring wonder and awe at our own internal landscapes.

Daily nourishing meals are included to fuel your practices and adventures. Breakfasts, packed lunch for the trails, and dinner paired with Argentinian wine will keep you going.

We will move together through the stunning nature that surrounds us, with some of the best hikes that Patagonia has to offer. Picture it: glaciers, lagoons, mountains and forests.

Having a park ranger as our licensed guide through the incredible hiking capital of El Chaltén will be a unique way to explore Patagonia both safely and authentically, learning important facts about our surroundings that serves to educate us and immerse us.

This retreat is about returning to nature.

Move with intention. Wander into the wild. Feel the vastness.

STAY

Our home for the week is set within Refugio de Glaciares, a private nature reserve in the heart of the Río de las Vueltas Valley.

Designed with a deep respect for the surrounding forests, glaciers, rivers, and wildlife, the space feels both grounded and quietly expansive. Rustic comforts, shared spaces, and the raw beauty of the landscape create a natural rhythm of connection and solitude. It’s the kind of place where days are spent immersed in the wild, and evenings settle into stillness beneath wide, open skies. We will also spend one night at Hotel de los Alamos in Calafate at the end of retreat.

Dream Stations

Our lodge has 10 grounding and cozy rooms with a large window that overlooks the forest and the Patagonian mountains. The decoration is made with unique pieces recovered from the forest.

Daily Itinerary Example:

Please note that yoga will happen at the lodge 1-2x daily as the itinerary allows.

Day ONE:

You arrive into the wild. After transferring from El Calafate on a 11am shuttle, you'll settle into the lodge, take a gentle walk along the Río de las Vueltas, and gather for a Welcome Circle and Grounding Practice as the mountains introduce themselves.

Important:
You must land in El Calafate the day before official start date and stay the night at your expense, so that you can make the shuttle to our lodge at 11am on day one (February 2 or 10, depending on week).

Day TWO:

The adventure begins with a full-day hike to Milodón Lagoon, bookended by morning and evening practice. Patagonia will start to work its magic.

Day THREE:

This is the one everyone talks about. We trek to Laguna de los Tres, which is one of the most iconic Patagonian landscapes — jagged peaks, glacial blue water, and a sense of smallness that feels like a gift. Go at your own pace. At the lodge, there will be gentle evening yoga to stretch out and wind down.

Day four:

A day of choices. After morning practice and breakfast, you'll head to Lago del Desierto, where you can take to the water in a boat excursion, push further with optional glacier trekking, or simply soak it all in. We return for evening yoga at our nature reserve.

Day fIVE:

The glacier comes to you today. A full-day hike to Cagliero Este Glacier and Laguna Rosa — raw, wild, and completely otherworldly. One of the trip's most memorable days. Yoga will compliment the day.

Day SIX:

The lodge gives way to town. After morning practice, you'll transfer to El Calafate for your final night — time to wander, breathe, and gather together one last time over dinner.

Day SEVEN:

A proper send-off: a guided exploration of the legendary Perito Moreno Glacier before you head home. Departure flights from El Calafate to Buenos Aires in the evening work perfectly, or stay an extra night on your own at Posada Los Alamos.

Package includes:

  • Daily Yoga practice

Hi, I am Willis!

Since a very young age, Willis has been drawn to movement — the freedom, joy, and sense of peace it offers.

He began dancing at 10, earned a BFA in Dance Performance from SMU, and went on to perform professionally in New York City and Las Vegas with the Metropolitan Opera, The Chase Brock Experience, and Cirque du Soleil.

He found yoga in 2009 while navigating the demands of a professional dance career, and it was a game changer. In 2014, following the passing of his beloved mother, he left his dance career and dove heart first into teaching — completing his 200-hour training with Anna Laurita, his 300-hour with Noah Mazé, and later studying Katonah Yoga under Nevine Michaan and Abbie Galvin. He now serves as a mentor with the Katonah Yoga Center.

In 2022, he founded Flying Heart Yoga in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, which is a space dedicated to communal practice, education, and self-cultivation. He leads classes, workshops, and retreats internationally, and is the founder of Flying Heart Retreats.

Willis believes yoga offers a powerful opportunity to inhabit the body, mediate our circumstances, and expand into our full potential. His classes are grounding and exploratory, rooted in breath, meditation, and thoughtful movement — held in a space that welcomes curiosity, depth, and self-discovery.
